THE OBSERVATION STATION

A part of the Subaru USA Open Pass show in Down Town L.A curated by RANGE.

Taking inspiration from the California vernacular of the fire Lookout tower, originally built as observation stations for rangers to stay in and look out across large expanse of wilderness searching for fires. As other technologies have taken over these towers remain dotted across the Californian wilderness and can be rented by the general public as a unique rural getaway.

The desire to escape the city for the great wide yonder is now more than a trend. For some it is a basic need. Escaping to a camp site or an old lookout tower to reflect and relax in an opposing environment.
